In a remarkable merger of motorsports technology and public safety, innovations from Pratt Miller Motorsports, the team behind Corvette Racing, are being repurposed to safeguard first responders. At CES 2025, Oshkosh, an industrial truck manufacturer, revealed how racing-derived technology is being applied to prevent accidents involving emergency vehicles. This adaptation of Corvette Racing's advanced systems may prove invaluable in protecting lives on the road.

 
The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is poised to be one of the fastest production cars ever made. During recent testing at a track in Germany, driven by General Motors President Mark Reuss, the car achieved a stunning top speed of 233 mph. No other car under $1 million has reached this speed. The new Corvette ZR1 consistently broke the 230 mph barrier during multiple test runs, setting a new standard for American performance cars.

Chevrolet recently wrapped up their sixth year of partnering with the National Newspaper Publishers Association to hold “Discover the Unexpected.” This is a 10-week internship and scholarship program that 11 lucky HBCU students were able to partake. Five of the participants focused on marketing, while the other six were within a journalism curriculum. This extremely successful partnership between Chevrolet and the NNPA is important in regard to inspiring upcoming journalists and professionals.

Corvette Racing is expanding to new horizons in 2022, with a global competition program that will see the brand compete in races on five continents. The new initiative will see Corvette Racing compete at the highest levels of sports car racing, including the FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The team will also compete in races throughout Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
