What's New for the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe?

There are many new features to enjoy in the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, proudly updated and completely redesigned for the new model year. The latest Tahoe starts the fifth Tahoe generation. The new Tahoe carries over the same gasoline engines from the previous Tahoe generation. However, it provides more mechanical options with a diesel engine addition to this year's lineup.

The new Tahoe gets an improved interior and more space and a more comfortable ride because it now gets a longer wheelbase and a more sophisticated and fine-tuned suspension system. The technology is updated in this year's Tahoe to include a larger infotainment display screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities and a Bose sound system. Numerous exterior paint colors are also offered this year to make the Tahoe stand out from the crowd. Along with changes across the board, the 2021 Tahoe also has some notable trim-specific highlights.

2021 Tahoe Trims & Features

In 2021, drivers have six Chevy Tahoe trims to choose from. The entry-level Tahoe is called the LS. The LS puts on an excellent first impression with its LED lights and 18-inch wheels. The base trim's interior gets a large, intuitive touchscreen display that syncs with your smartphone while also supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The base trim provides room for eight, and it comes with some standard safety tools.

A hands-free liftgate is added to the LT. The LT also adds wireless device charging capabilities. It gets leather seats for a more pleasant ride, and it also has a nine-speaker Bose sound system. The third trim level is called the RST. The RST has a uniquely accented front fascia. It also gets black exterior trim detailing for a distinctive look.

The RST has more massive wheels sized 22 inches. Its seats also get trim-specific detailing. More off-road features are added to the Z71, including skid plates and tow hooks. The Premier includes more safety features, heated and ventilated seats, and a more extensive Bose sound system, while the High Country has a custom bronze grille and a head-up display.
