The new Chevy Express has 2 main styles available being the Cargo and Passenger. The Cargo has one trim being the WT and comes standard with a 4.3-liter V6 engine, but also has a 6.6-liter V8 and 2.8-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine available as well. The Passenger has two trims, being the LS and LT for traveling in larger groups being able to seat 12 people, and the ability to extend that to 15 people by adding seats to the back of the van. All three engines available for the Cargo may be selected for the Passenger.

The standard 4.3-liter V6 engine is capable of producing 276 horsepower with 298 lb-ft of torque at 3,900 rpm. lb-ft. of torque. Its maximum towing capability is up to 7,400 lbs. Should you go with the larger 6.6-liter V8 engine you'll have 401 horsepower under the hood with 464 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. Towing capabilities for this engine is increased up to 10,000 lbs. As for the 2.8-liter turbo-diesel engine, it is capable of generating 181 horsepower with 369 lb-ft of torque at 2,000 rpm. Though smaller, it can still get the job done with a towing capacity of 7,000 lbs.
