2021 Chevrolet Colorado

What's New For the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado?

Change starts from the outside with the 2021 Chevy Colorado, which arrives on dealership lots with a polished new look for 2021. All Colorado trims get a modest facelift this year with some styling changes in front to give them a more angular and contoured appearance. Colorado receives a bold front-end grill on all trims, but the grille on the ZR2 has been specially designed to be longer and lower than in 2020. The 2021 Colorado trims also get the signature "Chevrolet" name on their tailgates. More features are added to each trim for 2021, and there are many choices for giving each trim a custom finish.

The Colorado Has Many Features Across Several Trims

The 2021 Colorado lineup is shorter, with the exclusion of the base trim from 2020. The Colorado series now starts with the Work Truck, or WT, as the entry-level trim. Even though it's a base model, you'll find much to like on the WT with standard Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an information console with a seven-inch display screen. Cloth seats provide a comfortable ride for passengers, while vinyl floors protect the interior.

The WT has two USB ports, while the second trim, called the LT, has four. The LT also adds a hands-free liftgate and a power-operated driver's seat. Keyless entry and onboard WiFi are other standard features for the LT. You'll get a slightly larger display screen with this model. Next, the Z71 focuses on performance with unique fenders and bumpers. Its all-terrain tires are ready for the trails. The ZR2, which is the top trim, gets heated front seats, a Bose sound system, and automatic climate control along with wireless charging and a raised suspension.

2021 Chevrolet Colorado Power & Performance

The 2021 Colorado offers a choice of two gasoline-based or diesel engines. The standard engine generates 200 HP and nearly the same in torque. The available gasoline engine, a turbo V6, creates over 100 HP more. You can also select a diesel engine that delivers 180 HP and 369 LB-FT of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but you can opt for a four-wheel drive instead.

Technologies to Keep You Safe

Safety features for the Chevy Colorado progress as the trims go higher. Airbags are included on all trims, and you can add cruise control and OnStar to the WT. The LT includes both features and adds automatic emergency braking. The Z71 and ZR2 both get hill descent control as well.
