To highlight this ongoing collaboration, Chevrolet has designed a bold pink Corvette that will serve as the official pace vehicle for the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series, helping to raise awareness and inspire fans to get involved.
Chevrolet and the American Cancer Society Combine Forces
For 15 years, Chevrolet has supported the American Cancer Society's “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” initiative. This year, Chevrolet is introducing a bold pink Corvette as the official pace vehicle at both Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway to help raise awareness for breast cancer. For every caution lap completed by the pink Corvette, Chevrolet will donate $500, up to $25,000 for each race. In addition, Chevrolet will contribute $1,500 for every Team Chevy driver who finishes in the top 10, with a maximum donation of $25,000 for top-placing drivers. In the previous year, Chevrolet's efforts raised nearly $19,000 for the American Cancer Society based on the number of caution laps. Chevrolet also auctions off these special pace vehicles, with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.
