A Brief History of the Corvette Z06
The Corvette Z06 is a high-performance version of the Chevrolet Corvette that was introduced in 1963. The original Z06 was only produced for one year and featured a lightweight body, suspension, and a high-performance engine. Only 199 examples were built, making it one of the most collectible Corvettes today. In 2001, Chevrolet revived the Z06 nameplate with a new model that featured a more powerful engine and improved handling.
The latest Z06 was introduced in 2015 and is powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine. With its sleek design and impressive performance, the Corvette Z06 is a modern classic.
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund is the nation's largest organization supporting Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The organization was founded in 1987 and was named after the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
