The Millennial Generation Defined

If you were born between 1981 and 1996, you're officially a member of the most tech-savvy, environmentally aware, and socially conscious groups to ever live, a generation that debates its issues in the wild public forum of the internet for all the world to see. Some Millennials have only been driving for a few years, while others have been driving for a couple of decades. It's natural that your time on the road might determine the kind of Chevrolet models that you enjoy. Younger Millennials are prone to flashier sports-oriented vehicles with lots of horsepower and driving modes, while older Millennials might prefer a 7-seat SUV that lets them feel like the king of the road when they take their families on vacation.

The Malibu And Impala

A report by Insurify tracked Millennial drivers to find out which brands and models Millennials favor these days, and the results weren't all that surprising. Many younger Millennials prefer models that have hybrid options. Understanding why is as easy as going to a social media site where Millennials are discussing environmental issues. They're trying to save on gas money and at the same time spare the environmental impact of their driving.

The Chevrolet Malibu has a great hybrid version that Millennials love, and it comes out that it's 7th on the list of cars Millennials prefer overall among all brands. And let's not forget that timeless class the Impala that has been prowling streets now for decades, looking sharp. Today it does more than look sharp, as it inherits tech features like wireless charging, Wi-Fi connections in the vehicle, and voice commands on a touchscreen dash. It does more than keep up with the times, and it looks as sharp as ever, something a younger person would really love as a first car.

Chevy Connects With The Young

Younger generations love Chevy vehicles in general. They can select from big, bold trucks like the Silverado, sleek, sporty vehicles like the Malibu, and more luxurious vehicles like the Impala. They're luxury, but it's not your grandfather's luxury. As the years go by, automakers will need to appeal to Millennials even more. With Millennials already inheriting positions in high places in their respective occupations, the ones going through college right now need something that they can feel great about. Chevy models give that to them.
