What Does 2019 Bring to the Table for the Impala?
There are three trim levels available on the Chevrolet Impala. The base model is the LS, the second-level model is the LT, and the top-level model is the Premier. The base model's amenities include an infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and an optional navigation system. Halogen headlights and power-operated outside mirrors are other standard amenities on the base-level Impala. Completing the base model standard amenities are rain-sensing windshield wipers and 18-inch wheels.
Stepping up to the LT, you'll get all the standard amenities of the LS, along with a remote start button. From this level up, the Impala also has a dual-zone climate control. The outside mirrors are heated in the LT, as they are on the LS. But on this model, the outside mirrors come with integrated turn signals for improved safety and a more streamlined look. The LT also has LED daytime running lamps for enhanced brightness, and its 18-inch wheels are painted by hand. The LT offers a variety of add-on features too, including optional navigation. Rear cross-traffic alert is available to complete the vehicle's safety package.
The top-level Premier builds on the other two trims' offerings with standard 19-inch wheels, LED daytime running lights, and high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps. The touchscreen display includes navigation in the Premier, and the sound system is a high-quality Bose surround sound system that comes with XM radio. Illuminated vanity mirrors make the front row feel a bit classier. Both the driver's and front passenger's seats are power-operated, and they move in eight directions. Electronic cruise control, a keyless start, and a rear-window defoggers round out the Premier standard amenities.
