Chevrolet gave the 2019 Cruze plenty of new features and options that weren’t available on previous models. They started by adding a more pronounced grille to the exterior with a lower opening. The entire front of the car is now more angular with an aggressive look. The overall appearance works well with the new wheel designs that are available for 2019.
Another tweak to the exterior of the Cruze are blacked out Chevy bowtie emblems and black window moldings. For the interior, a new color is being introduced. Umber is a dark, brown and yellowish hue that adds sophistication.
When it comes to technology, the Cruze now offers a seven-inch touchscreen standard along with an infotainment 3 system that is more intuitive. Automatic climate control and remote start are standard in 2019 on the LT and Premier trim levels.
The 2019 Cruze comes in five trim levels. The Cruze L offers comfortable features such as a six-way manual driver's seat and a two-way passenger front bucket seat. The front center console provides dual armrests while the rear bench seat folds down for additional cargo space. The exterior is highlighted by 15-inch steel wheels, black belting moldings, and door handles to match the body color. The LS trim level offers perks like carpeted floor mats and a deluxe steering wheel on top of all of the L features.
The LT trim level offers a 60/40 split seat in the rear, 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, a compact spare tire, Halogen projector-beam and daytime LED running lights. The Cruze Diesel provides the comfort of heated front seats and an electric in-cabin heater as well as heated exterior power mirrors. At the top of the trim levels is the Premier. The extra cost for this version will get you a heated leather steering wheel and leatherette seat trim along with the sportier 17- inch aluminum wheels.
