Continuing its reign as one of the best muscle cars available today, the Chevy Camaro received a bit of a refresh for 2019. For instance, in designing this year’s model, Chevy updated the exterior design of the Camaro. A new infotainment interface is another new feature for 2019, and the 1LE performance package is something you can now get with a four-cylinder engine. The 2019 Camaro is part of the sixth generation that the automaker brought out in 2016.
Chevy is offering the 2019 Camaro in a four-seat coupe or a convertible. Many trim levels are available. These include the 1LS, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, 1SS, 2SS and the ZL1. With the 1LS trim, Chevy is including 18-inch alloy wheels, a limited-slip differential, LED running lights and keyless ignition and entry. In the category of technology, the Camaro comes with Bluetooth, 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity and Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay integration. This model also comes with a six-speaker sound system.
The muscle car’s interior is cozy and modern. It comes with the car company’s third generation infotainment technology. The seats are comfortable and supportive. They also have plenty of support. Heated and ventilated front seats come standard with the 2LT trim. Since this is a sports car, the backseat is suited more for kids than it is for adults. Color options include Red Hot, Arctic Blue Metallic, Mosaic Black Metallic and Bright Yellow.
Chevy is offering plenty of optional equipment with the Camaro including an enhanced driver-information center, one that’s similar to the system that the company added to the Corvette. A power sunroof is available as is a remote engine-start system. You can get an in-dash navigation system and a dual-mode exhaust. Brembo-brakes are another available upgrade.
