Commercial Van Features
The 2018 Chevy Express is a full-size van in Passenger and Cargo forms. The Passenger provides ample seating for up to 12 people while the Cargo only includes two seat rows and designates the remaining interior space for cargo haulage. It is available in three trims: a base Work model in Cargo form and LS and LT trims in Passenger form. A long-wheelbase option increases the floor length by 20 inches, which is enough for another row of seats.
The entry-level Express 2500 Work is not as bare-bones as other base offerings from other brands. It includes a respectable amount of standard features including vinyl seating, an auxiliary port for music, a rear backup camera, and air conditioning. The trim also provides a 2-speaker sound system with AM/FM radio, power windows, and power locks.
Moving up to the LS opens the door to additional equipment such as cruise control and an upgraded version of the GM OnStar system that incorporates in-car Wi-Fi. You also get revised power locks and seating for 12 people.
Chevrolet gives the 2018 Express more standard comfort and convenience features than most of its competitors. On top of the LS' items, it adds power mirrors, cloth upholstery, interior carpeting, keyless entry, and a tilt steering wheel. Also, you can configure the LT to a fifteen-seater.
All models, including the base Work model, have access to a wide array of optional superlatives. Drivers can add a CD player, blind spot monitoring, parking sensors, the latest MyLink infotainment system, an iPod/USB interface, and a navigation system.
