The 2023 Corvette Z06 was auctioned for a record $1 million in support of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. The fundraiser was organized by General Motors and drew bids from all over the world. The new Corvette was designed to commemorate the late civil rights leader and first African American Supreme Court Justice, Thurgood Marshall. The proceeds from the auction will provide scholarships and support services to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

 
A new Corvette EV is officially slated to come out sometime after 2023. Some estimates put this as deep as 2025. Not everything is known yet, but the luxury brand is saying that a hybrid vehicle will come out probably around 2023, with a full EV slated to come out after that.
